میں Melody, a student based in New York who has participated in the Campfire Program discusses how she connected and worked with another student from Jordan. Melody discusses her experience while taking part in the program, including what she learned about people from Jordan, their religious and cultural beliefs, as well as their interests. Her main takeaways are that the people she met are not entirely different from herself and her classmates. Both Melody and the youth from Jordan gain a deeper understanding of each other and a broader outlook on their world. In short, Melody’s story is exactly the kind of learning that the GNG seeks to nurture.
GNG has set up similar video-conferencing lessons in over 60 countries from the United States to Rwanda.
