The people of the Gamo Highlands of the African Rift Valley are a unique group that has been isolated from the modern world, but have remained culturally and biologically unscathed. We learn about the cultural practices that have enabled them to create a successful society. Their story shows how they have been able to live off the land responsibly and at the same time respect the beautiful environment around them.
