Love is Love, directed by Mina Song, was curated for the Planet Classroom Network by KIDS FIRST!. This animated music video spreads a heartwarming message of universal love encouraging inclusion and acceptance. The primary target audience for this video is children and as this might be a child’s first exposure to learning about the LGBTQ+ community, I believe the film is the perfect first introduction.
Where Love is Love succeeds is in striking a fine balance between being both a fun, animated music video as well as an informative teaching tool. The topic addressed in the video is one that people of all ages will embrace. Love is Love succeeds in bringing it to the forefront.
