Revolucionarios (Revolutionaries): A Simple Short Film with a Heartwarming Message

Του Alex Silverman

Σε Revolucionarios (Revolutionaries), Κάρλος Χ. Tejeda presents a short film that adds a delightful twist to a timeless lesson—being true to oneself, irrespective of the opinions of others.

The story revolves around 8-year-old Pachito, as he sets off to school for an important exam. The only predicament he faces is that he’s dressed as a 19th-century Mexican revolutionary, and he dreads the potential embarrassment among his peers. Ωστόσο,, his perspective takes a remarkable turn when he encounters another boy in the exact same predicament. Although there isn’t ample time to delve into the backstory of our main characters, Tejeda effectively portrays the two boys as they grapple with their fears, ultimately leading to a gratifying resolution.

I award this film a rating of three and a half out of five stars.
