By The Book: An Overnight Flight Gets Personal

By Alex Silverman

By The Book is written, directed, produced, edited, and cinematographed by Mark Kiefer. It’s a short yet personal story that balances humor and drama perfectly.

When a man has trouble falling asleep on his nighttime flight to London, he turns to a friendly flight attendant for help, and the two begin to develop a relationship. The chemistry between the two leads is simple and sweet;  their conversation is organic, leaving you wanting to know what happens to them both by the end.

I give this film 4 out of 5 stars.
