While Every Sense Is Nourished, the Soul Rests, directed by Grant Lee Bomar, is a visually immersive contemporary dance film that blends choreography, cinematography, and original music into a reflective artistic experience. Produced by Darla Johnson, with editing by Dean Lee Bomar and cinematography by Trevor Barton, Ramsay Foulke, Nikki Johnston, Tim Mateer, Addison Ripple, and Anna Wharton, the film transforms natural and urban settings into expressive performance spaces.
Johnson’s choreography balances restraint and emotional depth, while Eduardo Duarte’s original score enriches the movement with warmth and nuance. Together, the creative team crafts a collaborative dance film that honors performance, environment, and artistic connection.
