Things get a little messy when the son gets into one of the failed experiments, and his hands turn very hot, burning everything in sight. Cependant, he doesn’t let that deter him from getting the job done. Just like he learned from his dad, one step back is only more reason to keep pushing forward.
From directors Sarah Heinz and Luke Snedecor, préchauffé was curated for Planet Classroom Network by the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY). The pair does a wonderful job in showing the love between a son and his father, and the lengths they’d go for one another. En outre, it’s simple storyline is great for kids, and the message will be well received by audiences of all ages.
This animated short has some fantastic animation that is engaging for all audiences, and has a genuine message to match. The idea to make his hands burn everything is quirky, and it gives the film a comedic touch. préchauffé will go over well with the audiences of Planet Classroom, and I highly recommend it.
