Chanceux, du réalisateur Alexis Wong, est un court métrage d'animation qui raconte l'histoire d'une jeune fille nommée Ming Ming qui ne se sent pas trop bien avec sa nouvelle maison et son nouveau quartier. En fouillant dans certaines des boîtes de déménagement, Ming Ming finds a book on ancient lion dancing. She ties a red ribbon onto the horn of her lion costume (symbolic of granting the lion its “soul”). The next day, her lion magically comes to life. The lion, Chanceux, helps Ming Ming adjust to her new home, and also brings positive change to her life and the life of her family.
Alexis Wong tells a fun and quirky story. En outre, the animation style is entertaining and helps bring Lucky the dancing lion to life. This film will be enjoyable for young audiences and parents because Ming Ming’s story is relatable and will provide support to others experiencing a similar journey.
