Olyvia Young and Drew Borden’s short film, What Do You Know about Mangroves and Reforestation, is an informative project that speaks about the necessity of mangroves to our ecosystems. Young and Borden showcase how mangroves can ultimately help our environment, as well as the ways in which humans can work to protect them.
This film was done in a slideshow format with a voiceover as part of Planet Classroom’s Problem Solvers series. The significance of the subject matter is conveyed well and though not explicitly implied, the dire urgency of helping our environment is an underlying factor throughout.
I would give this film 4.5 out of 5 stars.
