Technology to Save the Oceans

By Veronique Manfredini

It is a race against time to save the oceans that feed us, regulate our climate, act as a transportation system, and generate much of the oxygen we breathe, from global warming. What Technologies Are Helping to Save Our Oceans? by Esmerelda Hernandez De La Torre is a thoughtful analysis of the technologies available to man to address global warming and save the ocean.

The information is well-researched, the topic is important, and couldn’t be more fitting as we continue to fight greed, in order to save the planet from the climate crisis and our own impending doom.

However, I would have liked the delivery to be more engaging. The soundtrack would have been good had there been a voiceover of the information presented to go with it, but as a stand-alone sound it didn’t really work with this film. In addition, the slideshow of generic photos of the ocean and sky didn’t serve their goal as well as they could have.

I give this film 3 out of 5 stars.
