Ciclo de Cambio is an inspiring short film directed by Sarah Frei about Reina Molino, a young woman from El Salvador who travels to Guatemala to study bicycle pedal-power technology. Her goal is to address the lack of opportunities for women and youth in her community, and this film is a powerful example of how one person can make a difference by taking action to solve problems in their community and beyond.
The film does an excellent job of showcasing Reina’s journey of self-empowerment as she learns about bici-maquinas. Through the mentorship of Carlos and the friendship of Geovany, Reina discovers her life purpose and works towards changing the lives of people in her community.
Sarah Frei has crafted a quality film with beautiful cinematography that captures the emotion and energy of Reina’s journey. The importance of mentorship and community support in helping individuals achieve their goals and make a positive impact is also effectively highlighted.
Overall, Ciclo de Cambio is an inspiring and uplifting film that showcases the power of innovation, determination, and community support to bring about positive change. The film is a great example of how individuals can make a difference in their communities and inspire others to do the same.
I give this film 4 out of 5 stars.
