Mike Schleif Űrmedvéi; A kapitalizmus elviselhetővé tétele

Írta: Sean Hendrickson

Space Bears the Movie uses its relatively solid animation and music as a foundation for its witty, well written allegories surrounding late stage capitalism and its consequences.

King Glopp is the epitome of greed: stealing resources from all over the galaxy and forcing those under him to expand his wealth. Gyerekek (as we all know) have a strong sense of what’s “fair” from a young age, and this film does a great job of using that as a catalyst to further critical thinking surrounding its more complex ideas.

Children revere friendship, and the group of Space Bears and their individual personalities make for a great emotional anchor. Funny quips and expressive facial animation make for engaging conversation, and by the end of the film, you’re invested in the outcome of the universe. Films like this have the opportunity to build that investment and sense of empathy for our planet at a young age, and for that reason I think this is a solid children’s film in the classroom.

odaadnám ezt a filmet 3/5 csillagok.

A csendes-óceán északnyugati részén élő diák és művész, aki az audio/zenei produkcióra összpontosít, és szenvedélye az életvitelünk modernizálása.
