Being your own creative director can be empowering—but it can also be overwhelming. What if you didn’t have to manage that process alone?
This is the challenge faced by Alex, the main character in Kayla Lucas’s The Legend of the Lost Notes. Overwhelmed by disorganized research and scattered ideas, Alex’s frustration takes on a life of its own—literally—until NotebookLM enters as a solution.
NotebookLM is presented as an AI-powered tool that helps organize digital workspaces, turning chaos into structure. The film uses a playful, animated approach to show how technology can support creativity rather than replace it.
This short film delivers a clear message: while trusting AI can feel uncertain, tools like NotebookLM are designed to enhance human ideas, not override them. The Legend of the Lost Notes offers an optimistic look at the future of creative workflows and AI-assisted thinking.
